  
Integrating our phone tap detector, our body wire detector, and our white noise generator (AI-680) into one system, the AI-5500 allows you to detect any AM, FM, and UHF body-wire, room transmitter, or infinity bug transmitting in the range of 1 to 2000 Mhz; any series and parallel tap in your phone, phone jack, phone line, d-mark point, out on the pole, and in the transformer box; any extension telephone eavesdropper as well as mask the transmission of detected body-wires, room bugs, and infinity transmitters by generating an impossible to filter "white noise".
Detection Range for Transmitters depends on the output power of the detected transmitter. The stronger the transmitter, the further the signal can be transmitted, the further away this detector can detect it, and vice versa. Upon detection this system alerts the user with a pitched audible squeal. Series Taps, Parallel Taps, and Extension Party Eavesdroppers are picked up and the user is alerted by the LED indicators located on the face of the AI-5500 Complete Security System.
The White Noise Generator has limitations for the amount of area it can blanket with "White Noise". One additional White Noise Generator, model AI-680 is recommended for every 100 square feet of room, and another AI-680 is also recommended for every window present in that same room; providing the user wants to protect themselves from Laser Transmitters aimed at their windows.
